My name is Maksym and I am from Ukraine. I want to tell about my trip from Kiev (Ukraine) to Craiova (Romania), as well as the first week of my presence in the EVS project Shoe Box. Before going to Romania I had some things in Kharkov, so I was forced to fly not from Kyiv, but from Kharkov and the road was long. If you will be in Ukraine, I advise you to visit Kyiv and Kharkov. Next I was flying from Kharkov to Bucharest with an interchange in Istanbul. Istanbul is the very colorful city. Then I traveled from Bucharest to Craiova. During this trip I met a wonderful Romanian family who was very kind and nice people. After 4 hours and I was in Craiova.
To be honest, the impression of the city overpassed by my expectations. Very beautiful nature and many old houses. There is Christmas preparation and beautiful atmosphere in the city. But the best thing that could have happened to me was meeting other volunteers. They are so cool that I can not find exact words to describe them. The first week was just adaptation to the new atmosphere, so it will continue ...
