Holidays! Holidays! Holidays who does not wait for them? After hardworking time we all waiting the holidays to give us a break from our routine and refresh ourselves to go back to work with renewed energy. Holidays in Romania! It was one of the most exciting things to discover the new places, get experience and meet the new people. Before the Christmas we had already planned to visit most gorgeous places in here. Our first destination was Braşov. When we arrived there the city was almost covered by the snow, even I am not that type of person who likes the snow, but I really enjoyed the beauty of nature. We had fun and we walked as possible as we can till the middle of the night to discovered city. It was so excited to observe city views and imagine how thousands of people live in here and experience so many different feelings. Brashov was also the meeting point for the volunteers from Craiova to met and spent unforgettable time together. Our next place was Sinaia. It is a popular destination for hiking and winter sports, especially downhill skiing. But for us the most important things were Peleș Castle, Pelișor Castle and Sinaia Monastery that we wanted to see. The natural scenery of those places gave us joy. The last place was Bran Castle that commonly known as "Dracula's Castle". We all heard lots of fabulous stories about this place. These stories were also made it attractive and you can feel that Castle’s greatness. Then it was the time to come back to our home in Craiova to celebrate Christmas and getting ready for the New Year Eve. Some of us want to return Craiova by hitchhiking and I am also one of them. It was a great experience and unexpected decision that I will never forget. We walked 15km till someone took us  but we got a chance to take a magnificent pictures and saw the amazing view of Piatra Craiului mountains which means “Prince’s Stone”. Hitchhiking is easy in here, we had to walk 15km cause the most of car were full for the Christmas and they all visiting their families and relatives. (In any case Romanian people are very hospitable, I know that if we knock someone’s door, they will make their best for us) But we are lucky to met people and came back to Craiova.

At the end, I have to confess that if you volunteer in Romania, life can be really beautiful and friends make the world better :P
